Minutes before attack
"I'm telling you Seiban! Really on the hunk-of-junk suit of yours for everything isn't a great idea!" Vex told his friend as they patrolled the Wall of Warfang. The night was thankfully a peaceful one, no beings to throw random and unneeded insults at their kind, and no misbehaving dragons causing mischief.
"How many times do I have to tell you? It's called an "Armored Core" you idiot! It's only at it's secondary phase of testing and it's already shown great potential. This technology can help us in our cause both for defense AND offense!" Seiban continued the arguement with his practically oppo

The Age of Spyro: Two-Face Dragon--Final Chapter
Awaiting a New Age
That same night, everybody was summoned to the Diamond Cave, which was on an isle not very far from the Dragon Temple. The Guardians had just succeeded in burying the remains of Diamainte the Diamond Dragon. Spyro was still wearing his black cloak, then with the hood raised, and he and Cynder were holding claws. The two dragons stood alligned with the Guardians and their offsprings. As respect, they all stood before the resting place silently, trying to picture him. Spyro remembered perfectly what Diamainte looked like. Before they entered, Spyro explained to Cynder about how Diamainte was his father and Mawlbain's, and ho

Mending a Broken Heart
With the ceremony over, all the dragons that had arrived, took flight, transporting their friends, along with Diamainte's remains, back home. All the villagers, the queen and the princess, waved good-bye as all the dragons flew away.
By the time the Guardians had returned to the Temple, and seeing the place surrounded with snow, they were all reminded the date--the twenty-fifth of the twelfth month. Everyone was feeling happy but also rushed, because they all wanted to make a special festival, for the Year of the Dragon that was to come. While all the other dragons were making haste with their plans for the celebratio

Brother and Sister Rejoined
Spyro slowly opened his eyes as he regained his consciousness. When he woke up, he looked around, seeing the same white room of the palace that he once slept in. He saw the same red sheets, red mirror, and red curtains. Spyro knew that what had happened, was not at all a dream. He did dream nights ago, but they turned into visions that came true. Spyro looked around again, seeing Mawlbain lie next to him on the bed. She seemed like she was sleeping. Spyro said, "Mawlbain...? Can you hear me...?" The pink dragon that was really twice his size, opened her dark blue eyes. She muttered, "Spyro?" He said lowly, "It's m

The Beginning of the End
Spyro turned to the large dark-pink dragon, saying, "Stand down, Mawlbain. You have nothing worth fighting for."
Mawlbain answered, "The battle is over between my army and yours, but not between you and me."
Skultorez growled, "Leave him to me. I'll take him."
Mawlbain screeched, "You'll take nothing!" Mawlbain lunged out and pinned Skultorez to the ground. She continued, "You thought I'd give you what you lost? Especially after you lose your lose your powers? Think again, foul corse! Not only have you failed me, but also you have outlived your usefulness!" Then Mawlbain pounded her claws on Skultorez, breaking th

The All-Out Onslaught
Spyro waited for the ground force to near the palace, finding the right time to commence his havoc. Spyro had not used his powers for three days, but he knew that he still had them. He was wrong about thinking that he would never use them again. Unknowingly to Spyro, like his father, he knew how much he needed to be a dragon.
When Spyro knew that the time had come for the commencement, he took flight and let out an intimidating roar. That was the cue, for all the soldiers outside the palace ran into the battlefield, and Spyro was in flight, approaching the airships.
And so, the battle had begun. While Spyro was flying

Return of the Tyrant
The biggest meeting ever was called by Spyro and Fuegoles, and almost everyone involved in what was still yet to come, was called to the Grand Hall. The entire room was then crowded with different kinds of creatures. It was not very lit, except for a few torches and the natural lighting. It was still morning, but it was hard to tell because of the storm clouds. In the very centre, stood Spyro with several layouts of schematics. His scales were still the same ghost-like shade of purple, and he still wore his black cloak. As he spoke, he managed to project.
"I spent the entire night laying out these plans. I know that the

The End of the Beginning
By the time Spyro was out of sight, Diamainte sighed, "I'm sorry--" He was interrupted by Cyril saying, "Save it. There is no time to wallow in sorrow. What matters now, is that we are all here and we must find a way to stop the Dark Mistress if we to do it ourselves."
Fuegoles said, "I'll go to Avalar, and convince the cheetahs to back up the army here. We need all the help we can get, to fend her army off."
Terrador replied, "Then go." Fuegoles then took flight, heading for Avalar.
Diamainte said, "Mawlbain, Skultorez, and their army are the least of our problems. Even if we do defeat them, we still have that."

Terrible Truth
While Spyro flew to the palace, he thought, "I want no secrets and no lies. I want the truth. What's been hidden?" He was very serious, and he wasn't crying. He had to be strong.
Meanwhile, back at the Dragon Temple, Volteer the Electricity Guardian, raised his head swiflty and gasped after seeing in the Pool of Visions. He closed his eyes and sent a disturbing telepathic signal. Within minutes, the other Guardians stormed right in, horror-struck. Volteer said without hesitating or breathing--though his voice was hoarse--"I know now where Spyro is but he is to be in terrible danger we must locate him before we are too late it

Spyro didn't know where to go, other than the palace, but he didn't want to be near anyone. He decided to go into the village not far from the palace. Spyro was so upset that he couldn't bear to look anyone in the eye and tell what he had become. The purple dragon, hiding behind a black cloak, settled in an alleyway between two stone buildings. Because it was night, and he hid himself in the shadows, it was improbable for him to be found by anyone, even with a sixth sense. He curled up against the wall and closed his eyes.
Meanwhile, back at the palace, Frostra and Tormentano were shown a quarters where they could settle, aft
